FAQ

What does Sedvana mean?

Sedvana means “tradition” or “habit” in Swedish. We believe in questioning traditional constructs and mindsets, while creating and sustaining restful habits for a well-balanced life.

What are the pieces named after?

Each piece is the middle name of a woman whom we love. Middle names, like women’s sleepwear, tend to not get a lot of focus and attention - we thought they complemented each other nicely.

Where is Sedvana made?

Sedvana is designed in Los Angeles, and created in Shanghai at an ethical factory committed to environmentally-friendly practices that also guarantees it is free and opposed of forced and child labor.

How is Sedvana sustainable?

Sedvana utilizes only deadstock material for all of our designs. Deadstock means leftover fabrics from other brands that they no longer needed or wanted. We do not dye any of these fabrics, so there is absolutely no water waste. All of our packaging is either recyclable or biodegradable.

Are your photos edited?

While some photos are edited to help with lighting, we never photoshop any of our models faces or bodies. In fact, we don’t use any makeup or hair products on our shoots, because we don’t use any at bedtime.

What is your return policy?

If you’re not happy with your Sedvana purchase, please email hello@sedvana.com within 30 days of receiving it. Tags must be attached for a refund. All items must be in their original condition and cannot be washed, stained or used to be considered for a refund.

Please note that Sedvana is not responsible for duty/tax or return shipping fees on international orders.

How long does it take to arrive?

Sedvana ships via USPS Priority Mail and arrives in 5-7 business days in the United States. We do not ship internationally at this time.

What size do I get?

Please reference size charts on each page. If you still have questions, please email us at hello@sedvana.com so we can assist. We will ask you what size you typically wear and how you like your sleepwear to typically fit.

Is everything made out of the same materials?

Not necessarily! Deadstock means each color’s fabric will vary slightly. Some will have slightly more cotton, others more elastic. We can’t control this, but are happy to give these fabrics another chance at life with you.
